Marion read By Maureen Lipman

Marion Wrottesley (Wrotters) agreed to tell her story to the Trebus Project provided she could do her make up have her photograph taken. I remember her perched on a radiator in the care home, cigarette in one hand and a can of Carlsberg in the other. Somehow she seemed miles above the humdrum routines of tea, television and toilets. Whether she was in Tangiers, Shanghai or a grim London care home, Wrotters was, as she said, "Queen of it all".
